NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas State Marketing Board for Recyclables and Compliance Advisory Panel (CAP) will conduct its second quarterly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, in North Little Rock. Members may join the meeting by utilizing the virtual platform Zoom.

The meeting agenda will include approving minutes from the June 2024 meeting and discussing vacant positions. In addition, representatives from the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment’s Office of Air Quality (OAQ) and Office of Land Resources (OLR) will provide office updates.

The Marketing Board advises and assists E&E’s Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ) with finding and maintaining markets for recyclable materials in Arkansas. CAP is a federal program established to help small businesses with air permits. The public is encouraged to attend the quarterly board meetings.
