Oil And Gas Commission Hosts April Hearing

EL DORADO, ARKANSAS — The Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission (OGC) will host its April hearing Tuesday, April 22, beginning at 9 a.m. at the OGC office, located at 2215 West Hillsboro, El Dorado, Ark.

Among other applications, the Commission will hear applications from Tetra Technologies, SWA Lithium LLC, and Saltwerx LLC. Docket No. 023-2025-04 (Columbia County) is a request to establish the Evergreen Expansion Brine unit and to integrate unleased interests. Docket No. 024-2025-04 (Lafayette and Miller Counties) is a request for an order creating the Pine Unit and integrating unleased interests. Docket No. 026-2025-04 (Lafayette and Columbia Counties) is a request for an order establishing the Reynolds Brine Unit.

None of these dockets involve the establishment of a lithium royalty or the establishment of fair and equitable consideration for lithium.  

OGC will hear applications on the establishment of a lithium royalty for these brine production units at a later hearing date which has not yet been determined.
