NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is now accepting proposals for the GoRed! Reduce Emissions from Diesels program. The program, which is funded under the Diesel Emission Reduction Act, seeks to reduce diesel emissions from older higher emitting medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
DEQ plans to award up to $949,488 dollars for eligible projects completed by selected applicants. Eligible projects include exhaust controls, engine upgrades, idle reduction technology, engine replacement, and vehicle replacement. Any Arkansas-based business, government agency, or nonprofit is eligible to apply.

DEQ has established a rolling deadline for GoRed! applications. The first deadline to apply is July 30, 2026, with subsequent deadlines on the last day of each following month until all funds are awarded, or until Nov. 30, 2026, whichever comes first.
