LPGB accomplishes this goal through consumer advocacy, permitting and certification, inspections, and meaningful rules and regulations. LPGB aims to grow the liquefied petroleum industry, secure the confidence of the consumer, and ensure propane remains a viable energy source for the future.
"We protect the public and support the propane industry within Arkansas by working with stakeholders throughout the supply chain to foster consumer confidence, provide job opportunities and career paths, and secure propane as a viable energy source for generations to come. We are responsible for overseeing the proper handling, storage, and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas within Arkansas. We also set rules and compliance standards for the storage and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas and ensure industry personnel are properly trained."
